Paula Newman
I work with people from many cultural, religious and non-religious backgrounds. I have some knowledge and understandings of religious and spiritual beliefs and of different ways of life. Sometimes tensions arise and we can address these in therapy. I counsel individuals & couples and can provide long term or brief therapy according to your preference. I work in private practice and have counselling experience in mental health, drug and alcohol misuse and cancer care agencies. My experience of counselling children and young people is in primary school and a youth organisation. I work at Harrow, Middlesex, close to Stanmore, Kenton, Bushey and Edgware. Issues I work with include relationships, abuse, depression, addictions, eating disorders, self harm, bereavement & cultural issues. I work with adults and children who have Neuro-Diverse conditions including Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Asperger's Syndrome. Professional SupervisionI am a BACP Accredited Supervisor of Individuals and Groups and provide supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors.
