COUNSELLING ASSOCIATIONS The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy aims to provide a safe and accountable counselling and psychotherapy service for both practitioners and clients. ________________________________________________________The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy North London supports counsellors and psychotherapists living and working in North London. It holds events, has a member’s magazine and publishes a directory of local counsellors and psychotherapists. _________________________________________________________The British Association for the Person-Centred Approach promotes and supports the person-centred approach in the UK. Included on the web site is information on theory and practice, forthcoming events and the magazine Person-Centred Quarterly. _________________________________________________________The Association for the Development of the Person-Centred Approach is an international network of individuals who support the development and application of the approach. The association publishes a newsletter, journal, and membership directory. It sponsors an annual conference. _____________________________________________________________ The independent Practitioners network is a national network which offers an accredited route based on continuing peer assessment.
