In addition to bereavement and drug/alcohol issues I have also helped individuals with their relationships, current or past abuse, depression, anxiety, self-harm and panic attacks. I have long experience of working with both adults and adolescents and I also work with counselling students. From my own experience I'm aware of both the personal and professional issues which can arise during training. Personal self development can be a painful and emotionally charged experience. I offer counselling students a reduced fee rate. Counselling QualificationsDiploma in Counselling, Primary Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Certificate in Play Therapy Skills, BACP Accreditation and UKRC Registered Counsellor.

I work with individuals and we can work together for a short period (usually 6-12 weekly sessions) or longer according to your preference. I currently work in both private practice and for a young persons' counselling agency. In the past I have worked as a drug/alcohol counsellor in a Youth Offending Team and as a bereavement counsellor in a hospice.
